Support for employers
CAAT will be there to support you and your team
Helping with the decision to join
Whether this is your first time joining a pension plan, or you wish to pursue a merger of your existing defined benefit plan with CAAT, the Plan’s friendly and expert staff will be there to guide you through the process and to help you explain the advantages of DBplus to your board or other decision-makers, as well as to employees. In the case of mergers, this includes handling the steps needed to obtain regulatory consent.
Once your organization has joined, your payroll and HR staff will receive training in employer responsibilities as part of the onboarding process to get your employees enrolled and contribution deductions underway.
Our Employer Services team is ready to help. Your organization will be assigned a Pension Analyst who will check in with your team monthly and is available by phone or email.
The Plan delivers training on any new processes for employers via webinars that can be watched live or on demand.
The CAAT Pension Plan Employer Administration Manual is a step-by-step guide to processes and related forms and tools.
Member education adds value, saves time
CAAT’s highly engaging presentations and award-winning communication programs are proven to help members understand the value of their pension.
We’ll work with you to plan and promote the sessions best suited to your employees’ needs.
Other useful tools offered by the Plan include Webinars and on-demand videos.
Portals will save employers more time
To further save employers' time and reduce risk, CAAT is developing member and employer portals that will move more transactions online.
